HomeStudying

What has happened?

As of Monday 23rd March, to comply with Government guidelines regarding the Coronavirus pandemic, City of Westminster College campuses will be closed to staff, students and visitors.

We have moved all teaching online with staff and students working remotely. Students have been informed of specific arrangements through their college email accounts and other methods of communication agreed with their tutors. The week beginning Monday 23rd March 2020 will be a "Study Week" while teachers prepare their online study materials.

What this means?

From Monday 30th March 2020, online learning programmes will be put in place for students, this includes full and part time study programmes, full and part time adult programmes, all higher education programmes, all traineeships and apprenticeships which are normally delivered in the classroom.

This may mean some changes to the way you were previously taught and it will require a different way of studying. We understand that these changes are significant, but working together we will ensure that you complete your course. You tutor and teachers will be able to help and support you through this process, and they will be in regular contact with you.

The Easter term break will continue from Monday 6th April 2020 through to Friday 18th April. On Monday 20th April 2020 studies will continue as usual but in an online capacity.

How will I do this?

We have created pages within this area on our website to direct you to some essential resources to help with your studies. Please have a look within the "HomeStudying" tab in the menu above.

Library books

In light of the current situation with Covid 19, please retain all your library books until we reopen at a later date. All items will be renewed and all fines will be waived once you return them back to us
