Construction & the Built Environment

Construction is the creation of the built environment. It is everything around us that is human-made such as houses, roads, sports stadiums and airports.

Our full-time Construction and the Built Environment (Civil Engineering) course is designed for school leavers who are interested in learning about the construction sector, with a view to progressing to an advanced/higher apprenticeship or higher education.

In addition to the vocational learning, students are able to develop their English, Mathematics and employability skills to match the requirements demanded by industry and Higher Education. We aim to place all full-time students in work experience and work related projects with London based construction engineering companies.

Our level 3 and HNC part-time courses are designed for employed learners wishing to advance their construction or building services knowledge and understanding. They can be used as part of an advanced apprenticeship or to progress to higher apprenticeships.
