Sport

If you have the ambition to compete in sport at the highest level, or coaching an academy or becoming the next CEO of Nike, studying a sports course with us is the path for you.  

Our sports courses will allow you to develop a strong set of skills, preparing you to begin a successful career in the sports industry. At Levels 1 and 2 students become confident in the basics and complete their course feeling prepared for the next step. Students on our Level 3 courses have the option to specialise in an area of particular interest to them.  

You’ll learn from excellent teaching and support teachers who provide trips to places like Wembley Stadium, Manchester Velodrome and the Sky Sports Studios. You’ll also have the opportunity to join the College basketball and football teams, and take part in enrichment activities such as jujitsu and boxing.  

You’ll develop as an athlete, coach and personal trainer and be provided with relevant work experience opportunities. 

Do you know…

Lessons take place in our sports hall and fitness suite, which offer the latest resistance training equipment with special gym-membership rates for students.  

What’s next? 

Upon successful completion of the Level 3, you can progress onto an HND course or a science degree in sports therapy, sports nutrition, sports coaching, sports studies, sports and exercise science, sports massage as well as sports psychology.  

Future opportunities may include community sports leader, dietician, fitness instructor, nutritionist, PE teacher, sports psychologist, sports referee, sports therapist and more.

Ranging from £18,000 at entry level rising to £48,000 with experience and above.
