This is a progression course from Level 1, however new learners can apply. These qualifications have been developed to enable learners who are vocationally undecided to have their achievements recognised across a number of different vocational sectors. The learners will study level 2 units from Sport, Public Services, Travel & Tourism and Health and Social Care in order to provide an insight into each area. Employability units will also be embedded within this qualification.
Learners can progress onto a full diploma of either level 1 or 2 within their specific chosen subject area of either Sport, Public Services, Health and Social Care or Travel and Tourism.
Portfolio based assignments, no exams required.
Gateway
Good level of English Language.
Learners do not need any prior qualifications or a specific level of attainment to take this qualification.
Mathematics level
A good understanding of basic Maths would help but not essential.
