Course Content

This course will introduce some of the most exciting and fascinating features of contemporary astronomical research. It will look at cutting-edge results, from exoplanets to the evolution of galaxies. The results will be presented at a non-specialist level and all concepts will be introduced thoroughly. The course is suitable for anyone with a basic general knowledge of modern astronomy who wants the chance to look in greater depth at some of the most up to date results. It is particularly suitable for anyone who has completed the CWC course ‘Beginners Astronomy’.
