Earlier this week, City of Westminster College presented several students with awards following their entries in an international competition, recognising excellence in IT & Digital Media. For the third year running, the College has worked closely with Turan College in Astana, Kazakhstan’s capital city, maintaining a collaborative relationship.
A large number of students from both countries submitted pieces of work in Computer Graphics, Digital Presentations and Web Design, which were judged independently by panels based in London and Astana. Award ceremonies were held in both Colleges, where the winning students from each category were presented with International Certificates of Commendation.
“The quality of work was exceptionally high and all of the judges were impressed by the number of entries from both CWC and Turan College,” said David Pigden, one of CWC’s Deputy Principals. “We hope to continue holding the competition every year, to continue maintaining and further strengthening the relationship between the two Colleges.”
