Choosing a College is an exciting time and at City of Westminster College, we want everyone who visits us to have the best experience possible. Open Days give you a unique opportunity to look around the building, speak to tutors and current students about their time here at CWC. Don’t know what you want to study yet? That’s no problem! We have teachers, students and course advisors on hand to try and help you decide what area of study is right for you.
Because our Open Days are so popular, registering beforehand is essential via our website. When you arrive at the College you’ll be checked in by one of our members of staff or college ambassadors and will then enter the theatre for a talk about CWC and what we can offer you. Following the short presentation, you will be free to meet with tutors, explore the College and apply for your chosen course.
Some questions you could ask tutors at the Open Day:
• What grades do you need and can you still get a place if you don’t get the grades required?
• How will the course make you look more employable?
• What have past students gone on to do after completing the course?
• What financial help is available to you?
College Ambassadors will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about day-to-day life at CWC. You could ask our ambassadors questions such as:
• What societies and activities are available to take part in?
• How have they found the course and the tutors?
• What are the best and worst things about the College?
And finally the most important question to ask yourself is can you imagine yourself as a student here at CWC?
The final Open Day of the academic year is on June 18th and tickets must be pre-booked here.
We hope you have a fantastic time at our Open Day and we look forward to seeing you in September!
