Course Content

The salon:collective's classes in Meisner Technique are headed up by Dominic Kelly. Dom is the artistic director of the salon:collective and has taught the technique for over eight years.

Find your stage Ker-pow! These weekly sessions led by Lawrence Carmichael will sharpen your stage presence, physical language, story-telling skills and overall performance mojo!

Explore a variety of approaches to physical performance such as physical improv, relationship work through physicality, exploration of status and focus, power positions, character work, clowning, physical game play, mask work, Lecoq, Commedia dell’arte, Suzuki Movement Training and others.

The first half of each session will focus on the exploration of a specific technique, the second half will be scene/monologue work to apply these skills to performance.

Book 4 sessions or more and reeive a 10% discount. Places are limited to 12 each session. Participants are still expected to cover the class fee if cancelling with less than 24 hours notice.
