Interview Hat-Trick for Talented Artist

A Fine Art student at City of Westminster College has secured interviews with five prestigious universities.

Safia Razmin, has interviewed with the Slade School of Fine Art, Camberwell College of Arts, Central Saint Martins, Chelsea College of Art and Design, and Goldsmiths University of London as she considers her next steps.

The talented art student has secured a place at Goldsmiths and is eagerly awaiting her other results.

Fine Arts students from City of Westminster College have a proud record of moving on to well-respected institutions of higher education thanks to the excellent foundations provided by their lecturer and other teaching staff.

To secure one such interview is an impressive achievement and so for Safia to receive three demonstrates the level of her talent and how hard she has worked to achieve her success.

Safia’s teaching staff have described her as “100 percent committed”, “hard-working”, and have said that she has “incredible talent” and is a “pleasure to teach”.

City of Westminster College is incredibly proud of Safia’s achievements and views her as a role model for student who will follow her.

The entire college community also wishes her every success for the interviews, her next steps, and promises to support her, and her alumni colleagues, well into the future.

Stephen Davis, Group Principal of the United Colleges Group, said:

“Safia is an excellent student, and a talented artist, and should be incredibly proud of herself for having received these offers from such illustrious places.

“With competition being as fierce as it is, Safia must have stood out significantly and that should make her very happy indeed.

“At our colleges, we strive to help our students achieve their goals and dreams and, in my view, Safia is a great example of what an education at a United Colleges Group college can help you do.”
