Travel & Tourism

If you can see yourself working as a holiday representative, hotel manager, or in another exciting role in the travel industry, and you’re passionate about people, places, and culture, then a career in Travel and Tourism could be perfect for you.

You’ll learn from experienced teachers with strong industry backgrounds, high professional standards, and up-to-date sector knowledge. During your studies, you may also have the chance to travel within the UK and Europe through our residential exchange programme.

Our courses are designed around hands-on, work-related projects that help you build real-world skills. You’ll also receive dedicated support with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation, along with opportunities to meet employers and explore your career options.

Students also benefit from our state-of-the-art aeroplane cabin training room, fully equipped to provide realistic, practical experience in an authentic aviation environment.

You can gain work experience from industry leading employers and have the opportunity to experience a British Airways Training Day. Students also visit sites such as South Bank and Cadbury’s World.

Entry-level salaries within the travel and tourism sector typically start at around £15,000-£19,000 (prospects.ac.uk)

What’s next? 

Upon successful completion of Level 3, you can progress onto a university degree or enter employment. Future job opportunities may include airport customer service agent, cabin crew, events officer, hotel manager, tour operator, tourism officer, travel agent and more.
