A group of City of Westminster College Business students recently had the exciting opportunity to take part in a recording for The Food Chain, the BBC World Service’s long-running weekly programme that explores the business, science, culture, and economics of food.
For this episode, host Ruth Alexander sat down with students Ayah, Tringa, Edion, Samuel and Nicolle to discuss a fascinating topic: table manners. The conversation explored whether good table manners still matter to young people today, and how cultural background and heritage shape different attitudes around dining etiquette.
The recording took place at Paddington Campus, and aired on Thursday 25th September. The BBC World Service reaches a weekly audience of more than 318 million listeners worldwide, so this is an incredible opportunity for our students to share their voices on a global stage.
