CWC students produce a film for the Age UK charity

Earlier this academic year, four talented students from the Extended Diploma Creative Media course at CWC, were selected to produce a newly commissioned film from Westminster Council and the Lord Mayor for the Age UK charity.

The film was intended to highlight the effects of loneliness in older people, and what Age UK can do to help within the borough and beyond. The project was a resounding success, largely due to the diligence, ability and professionalism of the students, who produced a highly polished and emotive film that met the brief.

The premiere, which took place on Friday 4th May, was also a great occasion in which luminaries from the council, including the Lord Mayor, plus the principal of CWC Jackie Grubb, were in attendance. The four students, Yulia Tskhay, Elliot Ede, Hasan Saeed and Sara Atahy were duly praised for their efforts and a bring future awaits them all.
