CWC Students take part in International Competition with College in Kazakhstan

For the fifth year running, City of Westminster College participated in an international competition, to recognise and encourage the development of skills in Information Technology and Computer Graphics. Students from our college have worked closely with students from a similar educational institution, College Turan in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

Students from the United Colleges Group, College Turan and students of other educational institutions in Astana, were invited to enter the competition. This year, we received a high number of entries in the following three categories; Creation of a Website, Computer Graphics and Graphic Design. Two separate panels, one at United Colleges Group and the other in Kazakhstan judged the entries. The two panels then conferred to reach a joint decision on the winning entries.

Max Morton, the Head of School for ICT said, “The standard of work entered by all of our students was exceptional. This year they have once again demonstrated, that they are a credit to both themselves and their teachers, and are without a doubt, worthy winners. The quality of the work clearly shows a high level of expertise and strong commitment.”
