City of Westminster College is pleased to confirm its merger with The College of North West London has been completed.
As of 1 August 2017, the corporation of The College of North West London has transferred its students, employees, assets, and liabilities to City of Westminster College. The resulting merged college is now operating under the legal name of United Colleges Group, with a Corporation membership comprising governors of both legacy colleges. Both colleges continue to operate under their existing and long-established names.
Currently enrolled students and applicants to the college for courses starting in September 2017 are not affected by the merger in any way and will experience no changes.

You may have recently read about our Governing Body’s decision to conduct a comprehensive consultation around a proposal to merge with the College of North West London.

During the consultation period, we will be constantly updating this online toolkit with all of the information you need in order to find out more and make a response to our plans.

Our consultation process aims to be as transparent, meticulous and detailed as possible, to ensure everyone is informed and given their chance to have their say about key developments. Responding to our proposal
We welcome the opportunity for feedback on our proposal. Download our Consultation document, and fill in the form, which can be returned to the college via post or email.
This document is available online and in hard copy. For hard copies, please contact your nearest college reception to request a copy. Please note this will only be available during the Consultation period.
All responses must be received by Thursday 13th April 2017.
We want to be open and transparent throughout the entire merger process. To ensure this, we have conducted the following meetings with staff and met with student representatives.
31st January and 1st February 2017 both Principals met with staff from both colleges.
17 October 2016 each Principal met with staff from their respective college.
