International Students

We welcome international students. Our College is located in Central London, with easy access to transport hubs. We have a diverse multicultural student community and we offer high quality teaching and learning across all our centres. Applications are invited from November and enrolment onto most courses is in August/September of the following year.

As a College of Further Education, most of our courses are pre-University level. Our A-Levels, Access to H.E. Diplomas and Level 3 vocational courses will prepare you for entry to a UK University. We also offer a range of Higher Education courses at Levels 4 and 5 across our core subject areas. The full list of courses available to International Students is displayed below.

If you want to talk to us about our course offer, you can contact our Course Information Team via telephone +44 (0)20 7258 2721 or write to us by email at international@cwc.ac.uk.

However, if you require further information about the British education system and the opportunities it offers, as a first step we suggest that you contact the British Council or the British High Commission in your home country.

We will be unable to offer you a place on a full-time accredited course without first establishing the following:

  • Your academic ability to follow the course you have applied for.
  • Credible reasons for you choosing the course/level of study and choice of college.
  • Previous academic qualification achievement.
  • Availability to attend an interview either face to face or online.
  • Ability to pay your fees and to maintain yourself financially whilst studying in the UK.
  • Proof of identity including a copy of your current and valid passport.
  • English Language proficiency: the ability to speak English at a specific level e.g. International English Language Certification of a B1 standard and above.

Please Note:

When you apply for your Tier 4 visa, you may be required to attend an interview with the Home Office (UKBA) officers, either as part of your visa application or when you arrive in the UK.

If you are required to attend an interview and you cannot show at that interview that your English language ability is at the required standard, the Home Office may refuse your application or refuse to let you enter the UK. If you are a national of a majority English-speaking country you may be exempt from meeting this criteria.

All international (Tier 4) applicants will have to provide the above information at the application stage. Following receipt of your application we will write to you to confirm whether you have met the initial requirements for studying your chosen course.

Once we give you an offer, you can then apply for a Student Visa under Tier 4 category to enable you to study for the duration of your course. We will write to you to confirm this, which will then enable you to apply for your Tier 4 visa.
