If you are aged under 20 at the beginning of your course and are caring for your own child you may be entitled to £175.00 maximum per week, per child through Care to Learn. For further details go to

Childcare for students aged 20+The discretionary Learner Support Fund can help towards the cost of childcare for a limited number of eligible students using registered childcare. Payments are made directly to the provider, subject to weekly attendance monitoring and positive tutor references.
Please ensure that you contact our
Student Advice Team to put your name on the waiting list as childcare funding is extremely limited. We ask you to contact us well in advance of your proposed enrolment date, as this will increase your chances of getting access to assistance with childcare costs.
