Where does it lead?
This course will give you basic skills in Engineering. It can lead to further study on the BTEC First Diploma In Electronics or provide you with a certificate that can gain you entry to work.
What does it include?
There are eight units to complete:
- Starting work in Engineering
- Working in Engineering
- Developing skills in Engineering
- Personal Effectiveness
- Financial management
- Planning and making a product
- Assembly projects
- PC maintenance and fault finding
What do I need to get onto it?
You need to have an interest in Engineering and a minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade E or above in Maths, English and Science/Technology. All applicants will be interviewed.
