Booking for our next Open Day on Monday 10th October
for courses starting January or September 2017 has started.

To attend our Open Days it is essential you book a ticket and register using our booking form.

Please be aware that due to demand these will be ticket only events. The earlier you book your ticket the more likely it will be that you're able to attend the session you would like.

Our Open Days are designed to enable you to experience first-hand what it is like to study with us. During the event you can attend subject area talks, take a tour of our campus and meet with our friendly teams of staff and students.

We are situated in the heart of central London; just 5 minutes away from Edgware Road Underground Station and 10 mins from Oxford Street. You can also reach us on London Buses, numbers 6, 16, 18, 98, 332, 414 and by rail at both Paddington and Marylebone Rail Stations, which are only a short walk away.

Outline of the day.

Doors will open and registration will begin at 3.45pm. If you are early and arrive before this time, you can grab a coffee in our onsite Costa.  

Once you have registered at reception you will be ushered to a talk starting at 4pm for half an hour. After this you can visit members of staff around our building or talk to our admissions team or tour the facilities on offer at this campus. Talks will take place every 30mins, the last session will begin at 6.30pm. The event ends at 8pm, last admittance will be at 7.00pm to allow attendees enough time to see members of staff.

Prospective students may attend the event with family or a friend - however due to limited space on the subject talks, guests may be invited to tour the facilitis, or use our refreshment services. We there advise guests to bring a book, magazine or electronic entertainment device to make best use of their time between sessions.

How do I register for an Open Day?

For all of our courses, please select the time that is right for you from the ticket options below. To attend our Open Day you MUST select one of these options.

Do I need to book a place?

Yes, we have a limited number of spaces available for each Open Day and so prospective students must pre-register. You can reserve extra tickets for additional visitors if you would like to bring a relative or friend however you will have to register their details. For health and safety reasons, we are not able to accommodate anyone who has not pre-registered.

Why can I only book one ticket for each session, I would like to book for my friends as well? 

Due to space limitations and Health & Safety we require each attendee to a session to book a place. If you want to bring friends or family into a session, they will need to book an individual place for themselves. You can also book a place for them with their email address. 

Do I need to book a place for my parent(s) or guardian(s)? 

There is no need to book an additional for any or guardians who will be accompanying you during the Open Day. However, due to limited space, they may not be able to attend our talks without a ticket. If they do wish to attend a talk, they can guarantee a place by booking a ticket. 

Do I need to bring written confirmation of my booking with me?

Yes, your registration will be recorded on our system; however, having a ticket will quicken the registration process - this can be printed or displayed on your smartphone or handheld device. 

I want to change/cancel the session I registered for? 

On EventBrite, use the logon details you entered when you registered for our Open Day. From there you will be able to amend your tickets and change your session or cancel your booking.

What time do I need to arrive?

For Monday 10th October, the first talk starts at 4pm and the last talk starts at 6.30pm. There are scheduled talks every half hour between 4pm and 6.30pm for all of our taught courses - please arrive at least 15 minutes before your chosen talk in order to check in.

How do I get to City of Westminster College?

We are easily reached by the London Underground, bus, and rail. The nearest tube and bus stop is Edgware Road and we are a five minute walk away from the station. Click here for transport information and maps.

Do you have car parking facilities?

We are unable to offer onsite parking facilities.

Do you have bicycle storage facilities?

Yes, we have a small number of covered bicycle racks located to the side of our building. Please note that bicycles are left at the individual's own risk.

Is there anywhere to get something to eat or drink?

We have our own Costa café on the ground floor of the campus which offers a small selection of snacks and drinks.

In addition there are a wide range of cafes and restaurants on the nearby Edgware Road.

Who can attend?

Prospective students can attend together with their parents or a friend or partner. However, guests may not be able to attend the specific talks due to space. We do have a cafe for guests on our ground floor, and many break out areas throughout the campus, and they can also purchase refreshments in the café area on the ground floor.

What can I expect from an Open Day?

At our Open Days, you will typically listen to subject talks by our academic staff, go on a tour of our building and facilities with some of our students, receive advice on student finance and accommodation, and have guidance on the application process. For Undergraduate courses, you will in addition have the opportunity to discuss your individual situation and career prospects with a team member of the course that you are interested in.
