It is essential you pre-register and book a ticket using our booking form, which can be found at the bottom of this page and will be visible three weeks before the event.  Please be aware that due to high demand, our Open Days are TICKET ONLY events. 

The earlier you book your ticket the more likely it will be that you're able to attend the session you would like.

Our Open Days are designed to enable you to experience first-hand what it is like to study with us. During the event you will attend an introductory talk, take a tour of our campus and get to see out fantastic facilities and meet with our friendly teams of staff and students.

We are situated in the heart of central London; just 5 minutes away from Edgware Road Underground Station and 10 mins from Oxford Street. You can also reach us on London Buses, numbers 6, 16, 18, 98, 332, 414 and by rail at both Paddington and Marylebone Rail Stations, which are only a short walk away. 

Outline of a weekday Open Day
Doors will open and check-in will begin at 3.45pm. If you are early and arrive before this time, you can grab a drink in our onsite Costa cafe.  

Once you have checked in at reception, you will be ushered into our theatre for your booked session for half an hour. After this you can visit members of staff around our building, talk to our admissions team and tour the facilities on offer. Talks will take place every 30 minutes, the first session begins at 4pm and the last session will begin at 6.30pm.

The event ends at 8pm and last admittance into the building will be at 7pm to allow attendees enough time to see members of staff.

Please note: Under 16s are invited up to our 6.00pm sessions. Prospective students signing up to sessions after 6.00pm who are under 16 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult and ideally parent/carer or guardian to attend events at City of Westminster College.

FAQs   

How do I register for an Open Day?
For all of our courses, please select the time that is right for you from the ticket options. To attend our Open Day you MUST select one of these options and book a ticket.

Do I need to book a place?
Yes, we have a limited number of spaces available for each Open Day and so ALL VISITORS must pre-register and book a ticket – THIS INCLUDES accompanying parents/guardians and siblings. If you are attending with friends, they will not be admitted unless they have pre-registered and booked a ticket.

Why can I only book one ticket for each session, I would like to book for my parent(s)/guardian(s) aswell? 
Due to space limitations and Health & Safety we require each attendee to book a place. If you want to bring friends or family, they will need to book an individual place for themselves. You can also book a place for them with their email address. 

Do I need to book a place for my parent(s) or guardian(s)? 
Yes, if your parent/guardian want to accompany you to the Open Day, THEY MUST BOOK A TICKET.

Do I need to bring written confirmation of my booking with me?
Yes. You will be sent an email confirmation with your ticket and this will have a barcode on it. You will need to show this barcode when you at the check-in desk. The ticket can be printed out or displayed on your smartphone or handheld device.

I want to change/cancel the session I registered for? 
On Eventbrite, use the log-in details you entered when you registered for our Open Day. From there you will be able to amend your tickets and change your session or cancel your booking. If you have any problems doing this, please email

What time do I need to arrive?
Please ensure that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked session.

How do I get to City of Westminster College?
We are easily reached by the London Underground, bus, and rail. The nearest tube and bus stop is Edgware Road and we are a five minute walk away from the station.

Do you have car parking facilities?
We are unable to offer onsite parking facilities.

Do you have bicycle storage facilities?
Yes, we have a small number of covered bicycle racks located to the side of our building. Please note that bicycles are left at the individual's own risk.

Is there anywhere to get something to eat or drink?
We have our own Costa cafe on the ground floor of the campus which offers a small selection of snacks and drinks.  In addition there are a wide range of cafes and restaurants on the nearby Edgware Road.

Who can attend?
Prospective students can attend together with their parents or a friend or partner. However, guests may not be able to attend the specific talks if they haven't booked a ticket. We do have a cafe for guests on our ground floor, where they can purchase refreshments and wait in the café area.

What can I expect from an Open Day?
At our Open Days, you will attend an introductory talk about studying with us by one of our Curriculum directors, have a chance to look around our amazing campus and great facilities, speak to staff and students and tutors from all the course areas we teach and get advice on student finance and guidance on the application process.
