These courses are designed to assist you return to work by developing specific industry skills. Programmes available are Security Training (Door Supervision & CCTV), Call Centre training, Retail training or Food Hygiene training. You will also develop employability skills, helping to build your confidence in an interview situation.
 
Who is it for?
Anyone aged 19 years+ who has been unemployed for 6-12 months, receives Jobseeker’s Allowance and lives in Camden, City & Islington, Kensington & Chelsea or Westminster.
 
How do I join?
Contact your Jobcentre Plus advisor, who may then refer you on to a course over the phone. When you register, you will be given an individual initial assessment to identify your educational and vocational background, your learning style, existing qualifications, skills, aims and aspirations, in order to set achievable goals for this course and your future.
 
You will be asked to provide photographic identification including a valid passport/driving licence, National Insurance number and proof of address.
