This course offers help seeking employment and provides assistance with reading and writing, speaking and listening, numeracy and confidence. It also includes job search skills, CV writing, interview techniques, work experience and use of phone and internet for job seeking.
Who is it for?
19 years+, living in the Camden, City & Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, or Westminster and receiving Jobseeker's Allowance or other benefits.
How long is the course?
20 hours a week for 12 weeks
What can it lead to?
You will gain a qualification in Literacy and Numeracy up to Level 2 and more confidence in job skills.
When is the next course?
The programme runs all year even during College breaks and new learners are entered every week. Maximum waiting time is up to two weeks.
How do I join?
You must be referred by your Job Centre Plus advisor. You will then be asked to attend the Employability Centre at Paddington Green Campus. For a pre-entry assessment to enable us to determine the right programme for you..
