This qualification is suitable for you if you are involved developing and delivering training sessions for learners. In order to complete this award you should be delivering training and development in the workplace.
Some of the skills you will learn include:
- How to present information
- The use of visual aids
- How to develop session plans
- The use of exercises and activities
- How to give constructive feedback
L10 is part of the Learning and Development Level 3 NVQ
The L10 training is made up of the following:
- An induction to the programme (which will include introductions, registration and course requirements)
- Two days of intensive training (which will include learning styles, learning needs, presentation skills and lesson plans. During these training days you will be required to develop your sessions in your specialised subject which will be used in the two practical observations in the workplace)
- One day to carry out your training sessions with feedback and support throughout
- Half day session to build your L10 portfolio
The L10 award is a recognised qualification and the certificate is awarded by City and Guilds.
