Did you know many of our courses for adults are supported by the European Social Fund (ESF)?

The European Union funds and co-funds some of the College's courses to develop workplace skills for those in the workplace and the unemployed.

Their aim is to:
  • improve employment opportunities
  • help raise standards of living
  • help people fulfill their potential
The ESF is devoted to promoting employment in the EU and making Europe's workforce and companies better rquiped to face new, global challenges.

Their strategy and budget is negotiated and decided between EU member states, the European Union Parliament and the Commission. And once they have decided on their operational plans, it is then implemented through a wide range of institutions including us, City of Westminster College.

“Over the past year, Multiplex Construction Europe Ltd have been working with City of Westminster College. One thing that the staff has noted is the amount of dedication and commitment that goes into visits from the staff, all students are well-equipped and enthused. The relationship between the students and teachers also deserves to be commended, all students bond and work well with the mentors. We are impressed with the work they

do.”

Suleman Ahmed, Community Engagement Coordinator, Multiplex Construction Europe Ltd
