Welcoming New Governors
Over the past few months, the Governing Body has been pleased to welcome four new governors, who were appointed as a result of an extensive recruitment campaign.

As well as an already vacant position, three new vacancies became available with the departures of Jane Staveley, Steven D'Souza and Ric Marsh. The four new Governors are Angela McConville, Keith Hutton, Simon Neville and Stuart Taylor.

' I am really pleased that Angela, Keith, Simon and Stuart have joined us at this crucial time in the College's development with our major new build project a key strategic priority for the Governing Body.' comments Corporation Chair, Jude Boardman. 'At the same time, my fellow governors and I recognise the time and talents contributed by those governors who have stood down and thank them for their valued service to the College and its communities.'

The four new members are enthusiastic about the exciting challenges ahead.
Angela McConville is the Chief Executive of Vital Regeneration, a charitable company which aims to promote opportunities for individuals and provide sustainable development for deprived communities in London. Angela will also serve as a member of the Quality, Standards & Student Affairs Committee.
Keith Hutton is Head of Training and Reporting at EDF Energy with a key interest in training the workforce of the future and in community engagement. Keith will also serve as a co-optee to Finance & General Purposes Committee.
Simon Neville is Group Treasurer and Head of Risk Control at Collins Stewart Tullett plc, a FTSE 250 listed group. Simon benefited from further education personally at a very early point in his career and he will now bring his senior accountancy expertise to assist in the work of the Audit Committee.
Stuart Taylor is Director of Business Controls and Risk Services at Saint Gobain - UK, Ireland & South Africa. His accountancy background and experience in strategic property will considerably aid the work of the Finance and General Purposes Committee which he also joins.
The campaign continues to roll forward in particular to recruit additional members to serve as co-optees (non-voting members) to the Governing Body and its Committees.
