Congratulations to Richard Gillis, one of our I.T. and Computing Lecturers in gaining a 'silver medal' as F.E. Tutor of the Year in the Department for Education and Skills first ever F.E. STAR Awards. Richard attended the STAR Awards Ceremony on 12th October, in the presence of Charles Clarke and Kim Howells, and hosted by BBC Presenter Dermot Murnaghan. He was one of just 23 tutors who had been shortlisted nationally by the DfES, and we are very proud of his success and achievement.

The FE Star Awards aim to recognise the good work undertaken by the 600,000 people who work in the learning and skills sector.
