City of Westminster College hosted a Ceremony recently at Paddington Basin Campus, recognising the learners who have been awarded National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).
The College has 20 years’ experience providing work-based training and support via its City & Guilds-approved NVQ Assessment Centre and provides essential skills to a wide range of employers – ranging from local companies to national organsations.
The NVQ Award Ceremony was attended by NVQ graduates from Bircham Dyson Bell, Brent Mental Health Care Trust, British Gas, City of Westminster College, Etc Venues, 1st Place, Imperial College NHS Trust and Nucleus. Representatives of the College at the ceremony included Deputy Principal David Pigden and Director of Faculty for Business and Community Studies Des Reardon.
British Gas Academy Verification Manager Kevin Featherstone spoke at the Award Ceremony to outline how NVQs have benefited his organisation. He said: “NVQs are vital to British Gas because they help us to develop and mentor our people – congratulations to all the students here today.”
City of Westminster College Centre Manager Sharman Szewezyk added: “NVQs are increasingly well recognised by organisations for the role they play in developing skills and abilities in the workplace and we are delighted to be able to celebrate our candidates’ achievement and commitment.”
