Introducing Principal Keith Cowell
City of Westminster College’s new Principal Keith Cowell brings with him both a wealth of experience and a clear vision for the future. Keith has worked in the Further Education sector for 22 years and has taught on and managed a full spectrum of courses.

Before joining City of Westminster College Keith was Deputy Principal of Croydon College, leading major quality improvements across the board to place Croydon comfortably within the top 25 per cent of colleges nationally for results.

Keith is delighted to be taking on this new leadership role at such an important time in City of Westminster College’s development. With the £102 million Paddington Green campus scheduled to open in early 2011, the College will offer a world-class learning environment, enabling it to further develop its education offer and provide exciting opportunities for many more learners.

Keith says: “I am proud to lead City of Westminster College – a vibrant and diverse College – at this important time in its development. The College has always aspired to be an excellent learning environment, while still reaching out to the wider community and targeting students others do not reach out to.

“In order to achieve our goal of being a truly outstanding College we will ensure we strive for continual improvement. This means a clear focus on delivering not only superb teaching and support to students, but also the highest level of customer service and support for businesses.”

Keith believes that these are exciting times, not only for the College but also for its students, partners and the wider local community. “Put simply, we are working to ensure that everyone who comes to City of Westminster College has the best possible experience and that we help them to reach their true potential and fulfil their ambitions.”
