Goodbye and Hello - College Principal
After a mere 33 years at the College our Principal, Paul Bellamy, has decided to retire at the end of this academic year. Having joined the Motor Vehicle school in 1972, and undertaken various posts, Paul became Principal in November 1990, and has seen the College through many changes and developments. His fundamental belief, however, has been unchanged in that he has always determined to meet the needs of our students. His service to the College, and his work with the local community, is greatly valued and we will miss him, but wish him all the very best for the future.

We are pleased to announce that we have appointed a new Principal, Robin Shreeve, who commences work with the College on the 4th July. Robin is currently Deputy Director-General for Technical and Further Education in New South Wales, Australia and was previously Director (Principal) of a College in Australia. Prior to moving to Australia, he held positions in FE colleges in Hertfordshire and Suffolk. Links with Further Education in the UK have remained ‘live’ and last year, Robin was invited to be a ‘guest’ Inspector during the OFSTED/ALI inspection of a south London FE college. Robin is passionate about Further Education and is especially committed to raising quality and exploring the commercial and technical opportunities offered by links with business and industry. We look forward to welcoming him in July.
