Great news for Alan Gilmour, who teaches on our Creative Writing course at Maida Vale Centre - he has just won an Orange Award for Playwriting, which was presented to him at the Oran Mor venue in Glasgow last week.

Alan won the open category for 'The Piano Lesson' and which was chosen from more than 100 entries.

The play will now be staged at Oran Mor from 14th November 2005 for 2 weeks.

We would like to wish Alan many Congratulations on his success!
