CWC's Apprenticeship provision ranked top in London and the South of England

City of Westminster College’s Apprenticeship provision has been ranked as top for an FE College in London and the South of England based on its success rates. The national statistics, published for the 13/14 academic year, also showed CWC as the highest performer for timeliness and the second highest provider overall for Apprenticeships among general FE Colleges throughout the UK.

The success of the College’s Apprenticeship provision follows the news that CWC’s Health, Public Services and Care courses were recently placed at the top of the National Success Rates Table. The College’s Apprenticeship provision has excellent feedback, with very positive remarks from employers regarding the flexibility and quality of training, while over 90% of those who completed the programme felt that the training they received supported them with their professional development and was completed to a high standard.

“The College is obviously delighted with the success of its Apprenticeships and will continue to embed quality assurance procedures and activities to support and provide first class apprenticeships to both employers and apprentices,” said Lynne Graham, CWC’s Director for Business Development. “I would like to thank partners who worked hard to support the College achieve this result, the Business Development team who both deliver and manage the quality assurance process, and other key players in the College who have contributed to ensure the Apprenticeship provision we offer is such a success.”
