Art students show their talent at special summer exhibitions

City of Westminster College students of art, design and photography are showing off their creative talents at two special exhibitions beginning today.

Graduating students from Photography, Art & Design, E-Media and Games Design courses are displaying their work at The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane, E1 as part of the Free Range exhibition.

Free Range brings together works by talented graduates from all over the UK and has become a top destination for talent scouts, as well as art lovers. The City of Westminster College exhibition begins with a private view this evening and continues until Monday 22 June. After this it moves on to the College’s Cockpit Theatre between Wednesday 24 June-Thursday 25 June, where you can view the artworks from 10am-5pm.

A Level students are also displaying highlights from their portfolio at the College’s Maida Vale Centre, beginning with a private view on Tuesday 23 June. The exhibition continues until Friday 26 June and is open from 9am-5pm. Visitors will see original work in a variety of media, submitted as part of the students’ examination coursework.

City of Westminster College provides a wide range of Art & Design courses and has been awarded Skillset Media Academy status. Many of our students go on to develop careers within the media industry.
