We'd like to send our warmest Congratulations to Andy Gillman, Education Outreach Coordinator at the MoD, who recently received an M.B.E. at Buckingham Palace from Prince Charles (right).

Andy is a good friend to the College and has been working with us for the past four years, specifically helping our students with completing application forms, writing CVs and assessing their interview skills.  Students have also had the opportunity to visit the Ministry of Defence.

Andy's most recent project with the College has been extended to include eight of his colleagues who work in a wide variety of departments within the MoD that range from Wing Commander to Human Resources Officer. They will be mentoring the BTEC National Diploma in IT (Systems Support) group throughout the year.  The aim of the mentoring programme is to raise the aspirations of the students involved as well as giving them the opportunity to meet different people who work in an array of different environments within the MoD.
