A STAR STUDENT
Chibuzor Tina Amadi, 17, has just taken her A Level exams in Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy at the College's Maida Vale Centre.  She's had a busy two years at City of Westminster College.

"I got so much support from all the staff at the College, which was great for me as I had a really busy schedule both in and out of College."

Alongside studying for her A Levels, Chibuzor has been an active member of the College's Student Council and has also found time to sit on the London Student Assembly (LSA) at City Hall.  After receiving a general email about the LSA, she decided to pop along to an open session to see what it was all about....... and promptly got elected to sit on the board!

" I really enjoy being involved with the LSA.  There are 17 of us and we meet weekly to discuss and propose bills about crime and safety, housing, transport and environment and climate change.  Making up laws is hard work!"

Chibuzor is also one of 12 students who recently received a college STAR AWARD for her outstanding work and commitment to her studies.  She says "I love learning.  If I meet someone who has knowledge that I don't have, I want to learn from them.  I have a habit for learning."

Chibuzor is hoping to go to the University of Manchester to study Psychology or Politics and then hopefully go on to do a Masters in Child Psychology.  In the future, she hopes to have a career within the Youth sector and we think this will suit her very well as she has been involved in mentoring young people and running a Youth Club in Haringey.

We'd like to wish Chuibuzor good luck in her future.
