This classic by Charles Dickens’ has been adapted for the stage by Karen Louise Hebden. The timeless story of Scrooge, an old and cruel miser, is as popular today as it ever had been. Set at Christmas, Scrooge, who is despised as much as he despises, is made to face up to who he really is and, following a visit from his dead friend Marley and three ghosts, he goes about changing his ways … just in the nick of time.

This adaptation strips away the ‘big production’ which is usually associated with the show. Instead, you will be greeted by a small group of storytellers, who share the story of Scrooge with you. As well as telling the story, they seamlessly take on the roles of the characters. With a talented cast and a choir bringing you classic Christmas Carols, this production is bound to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Join us and get Christmas off to a kick start. With a great story, carols, mulled wine and mince pies … what else could you wish for?
