Performing and Production Arts offer a range of courses, whether you want to shine onstage or backstage. Our Performing Arts courses offer a broad range of skills in drama and dance, with some of the higher level courses including singing skills for actors and dancers. Our Production Arts courses offer costume, hair, make-up and set design, as well as stage-management opportunities.
We have a range of levels on offer and are here to help you develop and grow, ensuring you gain both the practical and academic skills you need to progress either onto Higher Education or directly into work.
Gaining the employability skills you need is extremely important; therefore we ensure these skills play a significant role in all of our courses. We work with a number of companies outside the College who are able to provide work experience opportunities, both individually or as part of group-related project work. Recent projects have included a Children’s Theatre tour to local primary schools and performing at the Soho Theatre in association with the National Theatre. We also make regular visits to professional theatre productions.
Within the College we have a purpose-built theatre, a dance studio and workshop spaces. You will be taught by an experienced team; many
of whom continue to work in the Creative Industries and others who continue to further their knowledge through advanced level research.
