What do I need to get onto it?
Applicants are expected to pass initial assessments in English and Mathematics and should be able to demonstrate they can read and write at Level 2 standard (equivalent to GCSE English Grade C). Priority will also be given to applicants that have relevant work experience (paid or voluntary) in the field of health or social care. All applicants must provide a reference at interview.
This course is for mature students, aged 19 or over. As you will need to successfully complete a CRB check in order to progress onto a nursing degree, we cannot accept students with a criminal record. Government regulations currently prohibit entry for overseas students on this course.
Where does it lead?
The course is linked to University of West London, St Marys Hospital and Middlesex University. Students are guaranteed interviews at University of West London.
NB: This course is not suitable for overseas applicants as we have been advised that students on an overseas student visa will not be accepted by Universities to study on NHS funded courses (diplomas/degrees). For further information, please go to www.rcn.org.uk
