What does the A-level include?
For AS you will study three units: Particles, quantum phenomena and electricity; Mechanics, materials and waves and finally Practical Skills assignment
For A2 you will study three units: Fields and further mechanics; Optional Unit that could include Astrophysics, Medical Physics, Applied Physics or Turning Points in Physics and finally Practical Skills assignment
How will I be assessed?
For AS you will do 2 written examinations and complete a practical assignment
What do I need to study A-level Physics?
Apart from the general entry qualifications for A-level you will need a Grade B in GCSE Maths plus either BB in Core/Additional Science or Grade B in GCSE Physics
What subjects should I study with A-level Physics?
You must study AS-level Maths alongside A-level Physics. This is a requirement to study the A level and you will need it to study Physics related subjects at any university. Chemistry, Biology and Psychology are other suggestions for subjects that can be studied alongside the subject
