Music Video Production
This six-session course will aim to provide students with a grounding of the technical and creative skills required to shoot an effective music video. From a song submitted by and selected by members of the group, you will learn how to work with the script, use camera, lighting and sound and take effective responsibility for everything that appears on the screen.

Once familiarised with the equipment and theoretical issues surrounding film making, students will participate in the making of a music video using the college studios, grounds and other suitable locations.

All stages of the digital film production process will be covered, with every student taking on specific roles employed in the making of a music video, including 1st AD, cinematographer, director, camera operator, and editor. The film will be then by edited using Premiere Pro.

The course is ideal for those with little or no experience or those wishing to brush up on their skills. It could act as a platform to take on more ambitious music video or filmmaking projects.
