City of Westminster College offers a range of higher education and training options for students who wish to move on to the next level of study through a Further Education College. Courses include part-time and full-time modes of study in BSc Honours, Foundation Degree, BTEC Higher National Certificate and Diploma and Level 4 Apprenticeships and professional qualifications in some subject areas. If candidates do not have the relevant qualification or experience, the College offers a range of courses at Level 3 (including BTEC Diploma, Access to HE Diploma and A-level courses) to prepare them for Higher Education.
We now offer a range of new courses in subjects including Applied Biology, Computing Systems Development, Health & Social Care, Sport & Sport Science, and Travel & Tourism Management. In the academic year 2013/14, we will also be offering Higher National qualifications in Public Services and Vehicle Operations Management. The College has close links with employers to ensure that our vocational courses give you the skills and experience to progress into employment within your chosen industry. The College also has a progression agreement with local universities, enabling our students to enter their final year of a Degree programme after the completion of a Foundation Degree or Higher National Diploma with us.
Our Progression Pledge
Our students enjoy their time here at City of Westminster College so much that they don’t want to leave us! This is also why we have introduced new HE courses and we are planning to expand our offer. If you complete successfully your Level 3 course with us, our Progression Pledge guarantees you the offer of a place on an appropriate Foundation Degree/Higher National qualification here at City of Westminster College (subject to a satisfactory interview, reference and application). You will also be entered on to a prize draw, access our gym at a discounted rate and more!
Affordable HE Courses
Our HE courses are more affordable than you might think. With nothing to pay upfront, you will only have to pay back your tuition fee loan once you’re earning a minimum of £21,000. So, for example, if you were earning £22,000 per year the repayment on a tuition fee loan might work out at just £7.50 per month.
