What does it include?

At the level 3 year 1 Stage competence in the following units will be assessed:

• Prepare accounts for partnerships (Knowledge and Skills)
• Prepare final accounts for sole traders (Skills)
• Accounting for fixed assets (Skills)
• Principles of Cash Management (Knowledge)
• Cash Management (Skills)
• Principles of Costing (Knowledge)
• Providing Cost and Revenue Information (Skills)
• Principles of VAT (Knowledge)
• Preparing and Completing VAT returns (Skills)
• Professional Ethics in Accounting and Finance (Knowledge)
• Spreadsheet Software

What do I need to get onto it?

The usual entry requirement is to have completed the level two stage.

Where does it lead?

The course leads to level 3 year 2 of the QCF which gives full professional membership to the Association of Accounting Technicians.​
